WHAT IS KAPPA ETA PI LEADERSHIP AND HONOUR SOCIETY? Kappa Eta Pi Leadership Society is a premier honour society that recognizes authentic scholars and leaders. "The purpose of Kappa Eta Pi shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship, leadership and service to community. To achieve this purpose, Kappa Eta Pi shall provide opportunity for scholarly exchange of ideas that promote academic excellence, development of leadership and service.'" While membership to Kappa Eta Pi is open to all who are invited and meet the qualifications, the target groups for membership are African American, Hispanic American, Asian American and Native American. Kappa Eta Pi’s mission is to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year and four-year college students, faculty and staff, and to provide opportunities for growth and development through participation in leadership, service and scholarly programming.
